Biggie Foot Smalls in action

For a party that my wife and I threw, we printed out a Bigfoot illustration that we collaborated on, and mounted it on gator board to be used in photos with our guests. Lauren designed the character, then I did a detailed illustration and painted it on photoshop. From there we had it printed and together mounted it on the foam core. It took us a lot of time and whiskey to cut out all the angles needed. He stands about 6' 3" to the top of his champagne glass and was a hit at the party. He now lives in our studio room. Totally worth it.

A painting I completed last year, after working on it very slowly for a long period of time. The canvas was given to me by a friend in LA, however, it included a dreadful painting on the surface. So I gesso’d over it and began anew, based off of a drawing from my Ink Only book. Now, I have no idea what to do with it. I haven’t wall space and anyone I would give it to has had children or soon will. I’ve never been in love with my work, but I would hate to see this one end up immediately in some storage space. So if you want it and have 300 extra dollars, let me know. Or, if you’re willing to keep it in your child’s bedroom for the entirety of they’re childhood, you may have it for free.

Hell and Back Official Trailer Release!

I had so much fun and learned so much being part of this film's production. It's been a long time coming and I am super stoked for its release. This was my first stop-motion job, and it was an honor to work on the first Rated R Stop Motion Animated Feature Length Film!! So much talent and artistry put into it, and I hope you all see it!

Memorial Painting For Mum

It's was my mom's birthday recently, so I decided to paint her a picture of Sadie and myself. Sadie was my mom and step-dad's second lab that died way too early. She was the sweetest and largest lap dog and, for whatever reason, adored me. I miss her very much, but found a small amount of catharsis in competing the portrait. When I showed it to my parents, they cried; it was embarrassing. I realized that it might of been a sucker punch to their emotional vulnerability, or perhaps I actually did something nice.

Impossible to tell. 

The Brothers Trolls

Here's a gift I made for my brother's birthday made with acrylic on black paper. We grew up with this creepy illustration in our bathroom, and everyone used to lie and tell us it was us. So, I had my mom send me a picture of it and now....

we're trolls.

Over a year ago I had promised to surprise Lauren with a picture of a mermaid. I finally did. It only took me a couple days, and she saw me make the whole thing. So in a way, I delivered. Kind of.       meh.

X-Mas Cards

This year, I made a series of xmas cards and gave them to friends and family. Each received a set of four within a handmade black envelope, along with a short paragraph wishing them merry xmas from the depths of my heathen heart.
